Reids House is close to beach, resort shop and hotel. Located in Eurong Second Valley, Eurong on Fraser Island.

This house is a private holiday home which is fully self contained, in a quiet location.

It has 3 carpeted bedrooms and sleeps up to 10 people. The main bedrooms contain a double bed in each room, with an en suite off one bedroom, and a separate toilet and separate bath and shower off the second bedroom.

The third bedroom has 2 x single beds, and a sleep out has another 2 single beds. Pillows and blankets are supplied. The living area has a lounge room with a large TV (free to air), video player, DVD player and also has a sleeper sofa which will sleep another 2 people if required. The kitchen has a big electric fridge/freezer, gas stove/oven, cutlery, crockery, pots and pans, with a dining area. The house has gas hot water and there is a large deck which has table and chairs and a gas BBQ. The laundry is downstairs, and also a pergola area. Separate to the house is a 2 room bungalow, used by the owners from time to time.

No electric hairdryers, toasters, fry pans or irons to be used due to the solar power.

Power points are available for medical aparatus and for charging of small batteries.

Everything is supplied except linen and personal items (bring; toilet paper, dishwashing liquid, matches, garbage bags), food and drinks. Also bring a torch.

Need to Know

You will need a vehicle access permit to drive a 4wd on Fraser Island.
All vehicles brought onto Fraser Island must have a current vehicle service permit (VSP). The VSP booking number is to be written on a VSP tag and affixed to the windscreen of your vehicle.

Practice safe driving through the various sand tracks and do not exceed 80 km/h on the beach stretch.

You will only be able to drive 2WD vehicles around Kingfisher Bay Resort. All other parts of Fraser Island are only accessible with a 4WD vehicle.

Check your vehicle making sure it is in good working order and take spare parts eg. radiator hoses, spare wheels. Bring vehicle retrieving equipment in the case of your vehicle becoming stuck in the sand.
