OverviewMy Island Home holiday house offers plenty of room for two families, one large family or a group of friends as it sleeps up to 14 people. Located in Eurong Second Valley, it is only a short stroll (approx 200 metres) to the surf beach where you can enjoy the fantastic fishing all year round. Eurong Resort’s shop, restaurant, bakery/pizza takeaway and hotel is only 100 metres away. This large two storey brick holiday house has a peaceful bushy outlook. It has four roomy bedrooms - upstairs is the main bedroom which has a queen bed, with a double bed in the second main bedroom. Three single beds in each of the other two bedrooms. In an open area between the bedrooms there are another 2 single beds. Downstairs is a fully self-contained kitchen with a large fridge/freezer, (with the second fridge/freezer being gas) gas stove/oven and gas hot water. Cutlery and crockery, pots and pans are provided. There is also a separate lounge and dining area. It has a large bathroom with a shower and toilet in the same room. There is a large laundry with washing machine. There is solar power therefore – NO electric hairdryers, car fridges, toasters, frypans or irons to be used due to the solar power. It has generator back-up if required. There is NO TV or radio – bring a pack of cards, or boardgames for entertainment or a good book and enjoy the peace and quiet. You will need to bring your own bed linen (can be hired if required), towels and in winter your own blankets. Pillows are supplied. Please bring personal items including toilet paper, dishwashing liquid, matches, garbage bags, food and drinks. Also bring a torch. Hope you enjoy your stay!

Please click the below link for more information - Need to KnowYou will need a vehicle access permit to drive a 4wd on Fraser Island. Practice safe driving through the various sand tracks and do not exceed 80 km/h on the beach stretch. You will only be able to drive 2WD vehicles around Kingfisher Bay Resort. All other parts of Fraser Island are only accessible with a 4WD vehicle. Check your vehicle making sure it is in good working order and take spare parts eg. radiator hoses, spare wheels. Bring vehicle retrieving equipment in the case of your vehicle becoming stuck in the sand. |
